I've had my eyes on the Seventeen Stay Time 25 hour foundation* for such a long time now, Erin from ChasingRubyCat and Alice from AliceWritesBeauty both go on about this foundation all the time but I've just always forgotten to pick it up so I've never tried it, then one of their lovely PR girls got in contact with me and asked if there was anything I wanted to try so I immediately asked for this and a few days later it turned up on my door stop and I literally have worn it every day since then.

I knew it was a full coverage foundation which is exactly what I look for in foundations when it gets to Winter, and especially now I'll be having long days with uni and work, I need a high coverage. When I first put it on my skin I will say I was slightly overwhelmed with how thick it actually was. I wasn't sure how best to apply it so for the first couple times I used my Real Techniques Buffing Brush- bad move, that'll work the product into the skin which is fine but I found it to almost leave streaks across my face. So then I went in with a trusty damp beauty blender (the one I've been loving is the Nanshy one and Wilko actually do an amazing one too) it's so perfect for blending the product out and then any areas I feel I can't get in with my beauty blender (like my hairline because there's nothing worse than having blonde hair and it being covered in foundation, ew) I used my buffing brush to just blend it out nicely.

It says 25 hours on and I'd say it's more of a 15 hour one, I haven't tested it in longevity yet like I would with other foundations but I have worn it in the ridiculous heat we've had this summer and it lasted like a champ so I'm happy. It's not quite as long lasting as Estee Lauder Double Wear, however it's less than £5 so can you really complain?

There's a pump which is perfect and I still don't understand why companies bother with products without a pump but hey ho, I tend to use only 1 pump and find this to be the perfect amount for my face. 1 and a half and I find it to be slightly too much so 1 is exactly right.
For anyone looking for a new foundation I highly recommend this one, it's an amazing price, the product is just incredible, it's long lasting and I'm going to go out there and say it, it's one of the best and most underrated foundations in the drugstore. The only thing I will say is that there I could only find 6 shades on the Boots website and they're all on the fairer skin toned side- which is a shame because it's such an amazing product.

*this product was gifted to me however all opinions are my own and completely honest*
