JANUARY FAVOURITES

Sunday, 31 January 2016

I can't believe that the first month of 2016 is over already.. How crazy is that? This month I've found myself reaching for pretty much the same things and really loving them all so I thought I'd share my favourites with you. Let me know what you've been loving this month in the comments!

I bought this in Florida back in December and have used it religiously since, I've tried using a couple other foundations now that I'm running low but it's just not the same. Luckily for me Max Factor is Covergirl's sister brand and they have this foundation just named as Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1- I'm going to pick this up ASAP just so I can get my fix so I'll do a full review and comparison then!

This is my sisters and came part of a massive set that was like £10 from amazon- I used to be all about my Real Techniques Buffing Brush, but now I just can't stop with this one, it takes literally no time at all to blend my foundation out. Love it.

I've been using this for about 6 months now, it lasts for so long as I'm only now on my second bottle. I use this as my morning moisturiser, it's so nourishing and gives me such a glow which is needed in these dull winter months.I have also noticed that it helps reduces the look of pores which is an added bonus.

I go through stages of not using lash curlers, but with these gold beauties I really notice how much difference they make to my usual stubby lashes- I highly recommend these!!

I wasn't going to jump on the bandwagon, I was going to wait until Makeup Revolution released a dupe (which they have by the way) However my mum didn't know what to get me for Christmas so I asked for this and holy cow I'm so happy I did. Every shadow is so buttery and blendable, I've never known a more beautiful palette either in terms of colours. The amount of looks you're able to create with just this one palette is ridiculous, I haven't tested it to the full potential yet but I keep combining colours in my head and imagining how they'll come out.

I was always quite dubious about setting sprays, mainly because I thought spending anything more than £5 on a bottle of what I thought was water was a waste. I did really like the Makeup Academy Setting Spray, but when I was in America I decided to just pick this up and test it out. I will say it is absolutely incredible. Literally my makeup does not budge until I want to take it off.

This is a cult favourite and normally during this time of year I'm wearing purples or reds however this month I can't stop reaching for this perfect nude? There's not really much else to say about it apart from I'm gonna need a new one very soon!

Another product I got in America, I'm nearly out and I'm going to be buying a new one asap. It doesn't crease in the slightest and covers my hideous dark circles and highlights so lovely!

I don't know what my life was before I got my hands on this. I've had this for a good 6+ months now and it's still pretty much full. I will say I was unsure when I first got it because of how creamy the top layer was, however once it had dried out a tiny bit it was perfect! I just love how my brows look when I use this. The colour is amazing, it's so easy to create the brow that I want because once I've got this product on my brush it just does as it's told.

I have been using the banana shade to set my under eyes ever since I bought this way back at the start of December, and I can honestly say it's the best powder I've used, it brightens my under eyes amazingly and it doesn't crease at all. However I didn't touch the contour shades until recently but I'm really loving the lightest shade, it's not too muddy and gives the most perfect looking contour. I also love using the middle shade which is more of a bronzing colour because it's got a more orange undertone compared to the grey undertones the contour shades have- because it's so perfect for my skin tone it doesn't look too orange on my skin.

Complexion Perfection Contour Brush
I've mentioned this brush many times before but I've been using it non-stop this month, it is so dense so when blending my contour out it does it so effortlessly. I got this well over a year ago now but I go through phases of using it but I can tell that 2016 is going to be the year of using it.

DISNEY WORLD DAY 2

Friday, 29 January 2016

Here is what we got up to in Disney day 1 if you missed it! And now we've got day 2..

We started off day 2 by having breakfast with our favourite friends from the Hundred Acre Woods at The Crystal Palace. The food was absolutley incredible.

After breakfast we used our fastpass to go on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Hayden beat me (not impressed) But we did get to meet Buzz right after which was awesome...

After having breakfast with them we decided we'd have a professional meet with Pooh & Tigger, me and Tigger may or may not have had a little bounce off.

For lunch we stopped off at Pinocchios Village Haus- that pizza was bloody incredible.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is insane and if you're going to Disney World you cannot visit without going on it- make sure you get a fast pass for it though otherwise you'll be looking at queues of more than 2 hours!

I have waited 19 years to meet this guy, Peter bloody Pan!!! We literally stood and had a full conversation for a good 10 minutes, he was amazing and he's even offered to take us to Neverland.

I love this photo of us in front of the most incredible Christmas Tree I have ever seen!

Wishes.. wow okay can we all just take a minute- I believe everybody needs to see this show at least once.. I was left with a tear in my eye due to its sheer perfection and magic.

Meeting Cinderella.

Rapunzel was so awesome- gutted Pascal wasn't there!

Just look at the castle all lit up...

WALT DISNEY WORLD: DAY 1

Monday, 25 January 2016

As some of you may know me and my boyfriend went to Disney World in December for a week. I did vlog it all so keep an eye out for that but here's it all in photo form! This is an incredibly photo heavy post so sorry for that but I couldn't not include everything haha!

Travel Day- Monday, 7th December 2015!

On route to Gatwick airport!

Nando's breakfast which was bloody amazing- so gutted it's exclusive to Gatwick south!

View from the plane

I loved watching where we were (they even had where the Titanic sunk!)

We stayed in the All Star Music Resort- apparently one of the most basic Disney hotels but still utterly amazing!

Our first meal in America! We both got wayyyy more than we could stomach which resulted in me eating chicken nuggets and chips in bed at 4.30am because of jet lag!

Day 1- Tuesday, 8th December 2015

One of the suites at the Music Resort.

First breakfast of the trip- we shared breakfast every day of the trip as portion sizes are bloody huge!

These little bands were everything- our room key, park tickets, we paid for our meals with them! So incredible and our names were printed on the inside!

On the bus to the park- I decided to go for the sparkly ears!

Entering truly the most magical place on earth!

The first character we met was Minnie in front of the giant Christmas tree!

First photo of the castle!

It was practically perfect to meet the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (omg I'm so sorry haha) Mary Poppins!

You will see on my vlog about my meltdown meeting Aurora!! Even her dimples are perfect!

The first ride of Disney World was Small World- a tradition I bought over from Paris!

Tinkerbell was the sweetest!

Big Thunder Mountain was incredible!

I wasn't sure on this at first but the audience connection was amazing and it was absolutley hilarious! If you're ever in Disney World check this out!

Space Mountain is quite literally my favourite ride!

Dumbo was a really good ride to see some of the sights and rest up for a bit haha!

We met ariel in her under the sea cave!

The last ride of the day was the carousel which was so lovely!
