What's in my friends makeup bag...

Sunday, 19 July 2015

Now I don't know about you but I'm such a nosey person so I love watching and reading what people have in their handbags and makeup bags. I did a whats in my makeup bag not that long ago which you can read here, so when my friend Jasmine came round with her beautiful makeup I asked if I could have a little rummage and then had a brainwave that I could show you guys what was in her bag! I've wanted to do this for a long time but haven't got round to it so I took the chance this time!

First up we've got moisturisers and primers. She's got a Neutrogena oil-free moisturiser- I haven't actually tried this before so let me know if you have. Then a Laura Mericer Primer, I've seen this used by many people and they love it, again I haven't tried it so can't comment but it does look like a great product. Lastly she's got 2 bottles of the Benefit Porefessional, I love this product and think that it's such an amazing primer so I was shocked when Jasmine said she hadn't actually used them yet- she's going to love it.

Foundation wise Jasmine only has one product and that's the Revlon Colour Stay, which is an amazing product, it's so long wearing and Jasmine's skin always looks flawless so it goes to show you don't need a high end foundation for flawless skin.

I have literally never seen so many concealers in one makeup bag in one time. She has 6 Collection lasting perfection concealers- 5 of which are empty!! Then she's got a nearly empty Maybelline Fit Me concealer, I love this so I liked seeing this in her bag! She's then got the LA Pro-Conceal concealers in a light colour for highlighting, then in a darker colour for contouring. I used these both for the first time last night and they are wonderful products and I need to purchase them! There's the infamous Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, and the Rimmel Lasting Finish concealer- I've never heard of this before? So do let me know what it's like! Then she's got a non-branded concealer, I don't really know what it's like so I can't comment. Although Benefit LemonAid isn't really a concealer it does fit in here. But that's it she has 13 concealers in her bag, oh my.

Brow wise she's got the holy grail that is Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade, literally if you still haven't tried it- DO IT NOW, jump on that bandwagon because it will change your life. She's then got a L'Oreal Brow Artist gel which is another product I've never heard of.. I feel I'm loosing my touch.

I'm surprised she's only got 3 mascaras because I seem to carry round like 5 at one time despite only ever using one? She's got my favourite Benefit mascara They're Real- when this was launched last year I was so obsessed! The Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume Mascara is another cult favourite. The name has rubbed off on this last one but it looks like a Maybelline one?

She's got a fair few choices for eyeliner. There's the Soap and Glory pen liner which I love. Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil, I haven't used this myself but it has such a great pay off when I swatched it! Again this product has no name- I think it's Maybelline? And I have no clue what that last one is but it's just your typical liquid liner!

Jasmine is Queen of contouring/highlighting so it was no surprise when I saw these 3 staple products in her makeup bag. The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer which is one of my favourite highlighters of all time, it's so creamy and gives you that perfect glow. Benefit Hoola Bronzer is the perfect contour shade. Sleek contour palette which you literally can't go wrong with- it's got the blush in too which is an added bonus.

She's got this beautiful MAC Brown Shadow Quad which I'm bloody obsessed with. And a very nice Real Techniques Bold Metals Brush which I really need in my life.

Jasmine basically looks like Kylie Jenner so she obviously has to have the infamous Soar pencil and Velvet Teddy lippy. She's then got this brown lip pencil from Natural Collection at Boots which is surprisingly good quality!
