Fitness routine

Saturday, 22 November 2014

So this post is a little (a lot) different from my usual posts. The reason I'm posting my fitness routine is to show you guys what I'm trying to do to stay in shape and get healthier. My body image is one thing that I really struggle with, and have struggled with for a very long time. I know full well that my lifestyle is very unhealthy, it all stems down to my eating habits because frankly they are awful. So I thought that writing down my fitness routine, and keeping you all in  the loop with what I'm eating and how everything is going, because I think sharing my progress with you all will really help me.

*I am not in any way a fitness expert and do all of these things because they work for me*

Daily routine
30 seconds high intensity high knees
30 seconds deep squat straight into jumping jack
30 seconds deep squat straight into tuck jump
1 minute rest
30 seconds high intensity high knees
30 seconds deep squat straight into jumping jack
30 seconds deep squat straight into tuck jump

This is 4 minutes out of my day, it is literally no time at all, and because it's all high intensity it works well. I sometimes do this 3 times a day mainly because it does only take a few minutes, but oh my I feel the burn!

Most days
Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, I found this last year and have done it on/off since then. But on the weeks when I stick to it I really do see results! There are 3 levels, each worth 10 days.

Level 1
Level 2
Level 3

Once a week
3 hours of cheerleading. Before anyone gets in their head it's just waving pom poms around- you are incorrect. I compete intense routines, therefore we need a lot of training to get into the routine. Things change week to week but here's a rough idea of what I do.

30 minutes of cardio
30 minutes of yoga/stretching
90 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of dance

Hope you enjoyed this post, there will be a diet post to follow, as well as body statistics and before/after photos.
