What's in my college bag

Saturday, 18 October 2014

So I thought I would do a very common post with a small twist- I'm going to show you what is in my bag for college!

Here is a birds-eye view of my bag, its from H&M and I just love it so much, there is so much room and its such good quality- I usually don't zip it up as its just so packed but its okay, it looks really really messy here it's killing my OCD but I promise there's an order to it.

First up we have my sketch book, everything I do for this project goes in here, so I've got felt making, weaving, designer research, fashion illustrations. This is the most important thing to have in my bag because its the one thing i use every single day. Along with it I have a plastic wallet just filled with all sorts, that massive bundle of wool right there is for some crocheting I had to do (oh how very glamours!!)

Next up is my purse and passport. If anyone would like to see a more detailed 'what's in my purse' please let me know! I have to carry my passport round because its the only valid form of ID I have so that's why- which is rather annoying!

Here we have a very plain and boring diary which is just filled with random papers and sketches, along with dates for work and blog post ideas (if I remember- I usually have them all on my phone) I am hoping to get a nicer diary because it might inspire me to actually look into it haha- so if any of you know of anywhere to get a cheap yet pretty diary please let me know on twitter or comments below!!

This is pretty boring its just my glasses which I have to wear when I'm concentrating, so pretty much all the time with all that sewing and drawing and researching I do at college! Then my pencil case which is very empty actually, it just has a couple pens, far too many pencils, a rubber, a ruler and a pencil sharpener.

This is all the stuff from the small pocket in my bag. I have my college ID card which I need to have to print things and I probably should wear it all the time on campus to show staff I'm not a randomer- but I don't! Then we have a cute nail file which I love, whenever I'm on the bus or I catch my nail I find myself just filing my nails down for ages! Hand cream- a huge must for me, I literally hate dry hands, dry anything actually which brings me to the next item lip balm- I get very dry/cracked lips very easily so I like to know I can just put some of this on whenever I need it. Perfume, mainly in case I forget to put any on in the morning, my current favourite is Katy Perry's Oh So Sheer (if that's any surprise!) All important headphones for those dreadful bus journeys, I literally can't cope without headphones on the bus, I can't deal with the human specias in mornings so I like to just put my music on and get in the mood for the day. And last but not least is gum, I am a huge gum chewer (as you can probably tell) so I buy these big packets as its cheaper that way.

Here we just have all the rubbish that is left at the bottom of my bag, I have empty packets from my Epilepsy medication, bus tickets, general waste, receipts. I'm so bad at collecting rubbish in my bag haha!

Hope you all enjoyed having a nosy in my bag! I will be posting a 'what's in my make-up bag' so if you're wondering about that keep your eyes peeled!!xo

  2. I used to hate carrying my passport round with me, it's definitely worth getting your provisional licence even if your not planning to learn to drive yet, just to use as ID!

    1. I get so scared in case I loose it hah! Unfortunately I can't actually get a provisional (this is because I have epilepsy and I have to be seizure free for at least a year before I can even apply) xo

  5. Cute bag! It looks really roomy but not too big! Sounds like an HG-type bag, if HG-status was given to other things non-beauty related. Haha
